Royal Mail Paint Restrictions. -IMPORTANT!!!!!

Ok guys I thought this was an April fool but it turns out it is for real -

The Royal Mail are putting a restriction on the number of pots of water based paint that can be sent through the post. 

The number is 4

Totally ridiculous and seems to be without any foundation but obviously the implications are huge.

Sounds like someone is trying to squeeze money out of folk. 

Totally stupid regulation!

I better make sure I invite a trader to next year's SKELP who stocks lots of paints...

Yeah I saw this on the Pendraken forum, to be honest, I find it unbelievable, you can post cans of spray, but inert water based paint is restricted. All I can say is WTF

Odd isn't it, still permissible to post a litre bottle of the hard stuff but not more than 600ml of water-based paint:?:
